  6. TabUtil 1.1 - a Text File Processor

  8. TabUtil is a program which can remove horizontal tab characters from text files, and replace them with the correct number of spaces.

  10. This is useful when migrating text files from the Apple MDS Editor to other
  11. computers which dont recognize horizontal tabs.
  12.  
  13. Other options of the program include replacing excess spaces with horizontal
  14. tabs, stripping trailing spaces, and stripping control characters.
  15.  
  16. This is version 1.1 which has improved error checking and file statistics
  17. display.  Version 1.0 had a bug which prevented it from detecting disk full
  18. errors.

  20. This is a freeware contribution to Macintosh users everywhere. Enjoy!
